Meine Copic-Aufbewahrung / My Copic storage solution

Für meine Copic-Stifte habe ich schon länger eine Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit gesucht.

Auf einem Amerikanischen Blog habe ich eine Tasche gesehen, die mich auf diese Idee brachte.

Ich wollte unbedingt die Farben nach Gruppen sortiert haben, also R, Y, G, B, V, RV, YR, YG, BV, BG, E, und die Grautöne. Also habe ich mir dieses Teil entworfen und aus Graupappe gebaut.

Die Graupappe ist 3mm stark und mit hellblauem Tonpapier bezogen, die Kanten habe ich mit schwarzem Schrägband verbunden, und alles schön mit einer Mischung aus Buchbindeleim und Kleister verklebt.

Der Griff ist von einer Tasche, in die ich das Ganze eichentlich stellen wollte....Aber ich habe ich gründlich verrechnet...nächstes Mal vergesse ich bestimmt die "Nahtzugaben" nicht, die ich für die 3mm Pappe gebraucht hätte. Aber nach ein bisschen fummeln hat es auch so hingehauen.

Statt der Tasche habe ich die Aussenseite mit Schwarzem Ribbon verziert und mit dem

Fruit Smoothie Alphabet die benötigten Buchstaben ausgestanzt. Wie ihr seht sind die Copics schon eingezogen und es ist noch massig Platz für neue Farben.....

I was searching for a storage solution for my Copics for months now.

Then I saw a tote on an American Blog, which inspired me to build this tote with 3mm chipboard.
There is a part for each colourgroup like R, Y, G, B, V, RV, YR, YG, BV, BG, E, and the Greys.

The chipboard is covered with lightblue paper and glued together with black linen and bookbinding glue. The handle is from a bag, I wanted to put the hole thing in...but I did a mistage in planning and it doesn´t fit in anymore. So I took black ribbon and my Fruit Smoothie Alphabet to cut the needed letters. As you can see, my Copics moved in yet and there is plenty of space for more colours....

Schenkli´s und ATC-Adventkalender/ Little gifts and ATC-Christmascalendar

Bei Margot habe ich dieses Stampin´ Up Stempelkissen als Trostpreis gewonnen. Ich habe mir "Glutrot" ausgesucht, weil Weihnachten vor der Tür steht. Margot hat mir ausserdem eine wunderschöne weihnachtliche Karte gebastelt.

Meine Kollegin hat mir diesen netten Gesellen gestickt und um eine Stiftedose genäht. Ist der Weihnachtselch nicht zuckersüss? Dabei hatte ich ihr wirklich nur einen kleinen Gefallen getan.

Und dann habe ich die heissersehnten 24 ATC´s für meinen Adventkalender bekommen. Das ist eine Aktion bei den Kreativen Bastelfreunden. Ich habe natürlich auch 24 ATC´s zum Thema "Weihnachten und Winter" gemacht, es waren meine ersten ATC´s überhaupt, und die an Martina geschickt. Sie hat dann die Mischung vorgenommen, und jedem Teilnehmer 24 andere ATC´s zurückgeschickt. Jetzt kann ich kaum den 1. Dezember erwarten....

And then I got my 24 ATC´s for my Christmas calendar. This is a swap at Kreative Bastelfreunde Forum. I did 24 ATC´s themed "Christmas and winter", that was my very first time to make ATC´s,

and I send them to Martina. She mixed them up and send them back to the participants. Now, I can´t hardly wait for December, 1st to come up....

20 Jahre Mauerfall / 20 Years of Berlin´s Wall Breakdown

Heute feiern wir den 20. Jahrestag des Mauerfalls zwischen Ost- und West-Deutschland.

Wisst ihr noch wo ihr grade wart, was ihr grade gemacht habt, was ihr gedacht habt, als die Nachricht bei euch ankam?

Today we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall Breakdown.

Do you remeber where you have been and what you thought or did, when the news reached you?

Ich habe bei uns im Wohnzimmer gesessen, ich war 16 Jahre alt und wir haben damals in Knittlingen (Ba-Wü) gewohnt. Wir waren erst ein Dreivierteljahr vorher dorthin umgezogen, mein Bruder Boris war zu der Zeit schwer krank mit einem Gehirntumor (er starb am 13. Dez. 1989) und beides hat mein Teenager-Leben ziemlich belastet. Und es war der 17. Hochzeitstag meiner Eltern und der 42. Hochzeitstag meiner Grosseltern, was aber nicht sonderlich gefeiert wurde.

I sat in the living-room, I was 16 years old and we lived in Knittlingen (near Stuttgart).

We moved there just 9 month ago, and my brother Boris was very sick with brain cancer (he died  Dec., 13th 1989), both was putting weight on my teenager-living. And it was the 17th wedding anniversary of my parents and the 42nd wedding anniversary of my grandparents, but there was no party for that.

Wir saßen nun also am Abend des 9. Novembers 1989 alle vorm Fernseher und haben "Knight Rider" angesehen, die Lieblingssendung meiner drei jüngeren Geschwister, als unten im Bild so ein Spruchband mit den Eilmeldungen durchlief.

Ich war ziemlich aus dem Häuschen, glücklich, zumal im Mai 1990 unsere Klassenfahrt nach Berlin geplant war.

On that special day, Nov. 9th, 1989, we all sat in front of the TV watching "Knight Rider", the favorite TV-play of my younger sister and brothers, as the breaking news came on rotating on the bottom of the TV. I was so pleased and happy, especially because we planned to travel to Berlin with my school-class in May 1990.

Unsere Klassenlehrerin Frau Wittum hatte uns seit Monaten im Geschichtsunterricht auf die Reise vorbereitet. Natürlich war Sie dort mit allen Ihren Abschlussklassen und hatte uns viel zu berichten.

Die Grenzabfertigungungen und die Fahrt im Reisebus durch die "Zone" waren für Sie ein Thema für sich, wir wurden mit Verhaltensmaßregeln und Ratschlägen gefüttert. Wir bekamen sogar Listen, mit Dingen (Druckerzeugnisse, Musikkassetten, etc), die man bei der Grenzkontrolle durch die DDR-Grenzer besser nicht bei sich haben sollte.

Our teacher, Mrs. Wittum talked about Berlin history a huge lot with us, to prepare us for the special occation waiting for us in the GDR. She was there a lot of times with all absolvent-classes and had to tell so many storys. She feared the strong frontier-controls and the drive-through the "Zone", she feeded us with rules, laws and behaviour-hints. We got lists, which things (like books, newspapers, musictapes) to leave at home, to not offend the GDR frontier-policemen.

Aber es sollte alles anders kommen, keine "Stasi"-Grenzkontrolle mehr, sondern nur die damals an allen EU-Ländergrenzen übliche Passkontrolle. An einem unterirdischen Grenzübergang in der umfunktionierten S-Bahn-Haltestelle Friedrichstrasse wurden wir einfach nur durchgewunken. Frau Wittum brach in Tränen aus, vor Begeisterung und Erleichterung.

Ein "scheußlicher" Pflichttermin war ein angeblich ewig langer Vortrag über die Teilung Deutschlands, durch die Teilnahme gab es Zuschüsse vom Land zur Klassenfahrt....nur was sollte der Redner uns noch gross erzählen? Er war zu unserer Erleichterung nach 20 Minuten fertig und hat uns verabschiedet mit den Worten: " Schaut euch lieber unsere schöne Stadt an!"

But everything was different, no "Stasi-like" controls, only the normal passport contols like on all other EU-frontiers. In the former subway station Friedrichstrasse, there was a frontier-control with many guards and strong controlls,  but when we came they weren´t interested in controling us. We just went though the former baricades. Our teacher cried in that subway station, because of enthusiasm and relief.

One of the "ugly" dates we had, was a neverending speech about the parting of East- and West-Germany, but what more had the speaker to tell us......He finished in 20 min. and letting us go with the words: "Go and visit and see our beautiful Berlin live instead"

Das ist keine historisch wertvolle Geschichte, aber es sind meine Erlebnisse und Erinnerungen rund um die Maueröffnung und der Wiedervereinigung. Erzählt doch auch mal!

Shadow Box Geburtstags-Karte/ Shadow Box Birthday Card

Meine Schwester braucht eine Geburtstagskarte für einen Kollegen, der 50. wird und gerne reist.
Es wurde von den Kolleginnen fix ein Gedicht geschrieben und ich wurde für die Karte beauftragt.

Naja, da sind mir der Safari-Edwin und das "Miezekätzchen" eingefallen und ich habe eine kleine Szene gestempelt und mit Copics coloriert.
Als Kartenform habe ich mich mal an was Neues gewagt, den bei Stempeleinmaleins wurde heute die Shadow Box Karte vorgestellt mit Anleitung und tollen Fotos. Ich habe die Grösse etwas abgewandelt, damit es in einen vorhandenen quadratischen Umschlag (17x17cm) geht. Die Flowers sind mit den Nellie Snellen Stanzern gemacht, es ist grandios, wenn die Blumen farblich genau passen!!!

My sister needs a birthdaycard for a workmate, his 50th birthday is soon and he loves to travel. The other workmates made a little poem for him and I was asked to make the card.

Then I used Safari-Edwin and that "Kittycat" and I stamped a little scene and coloured with Copics.

For the cardstyle I tried something new, at Stempeleinmaleins they introduced Shadow Box Cards today, with a tutorial and some pretty pictures. I didn´t use the size they did, but it had to fit an envelope (17x17cm) I had here. The flowers are punched with Nellie Snellen Flower punches and it is magnificent if the flowers have exactly the right colour.

Auf der Rückseite habe ich eine Tasche aufgeklebt, in der die Karte mit dem Gedicht und den Unterschriften der Kollegen drin liegt. Das Gedicht kann ich euch nicht zeigen, deshalb schaut die Karte auf dem Foto nur ein bisschen aus der Tasche raus.

On the back I placed a little bag, it holds the card with the poem and the signatures of the workmates. I can´t show the poem yet, so on the photo the card is almost fully in that bag.

Copic Creations #15 Red Hair/ Rote Haare

Da ich ja noch Urlaub habe, bin ich fleissig am Werkeln mit meinen ganzen Messeschätzen.

Von dem verführerischen Magnoliastand habe ich ja schon berichtet....am liebsten hätte ich alle mitgenommen ***giggel***

Für die Copic Creations Challenge #15 "Red Hair" (rore Haare) habe ich die Lollipop-Tilda mit Maskiertechnik auf ein Bonbonglas gesetzt und so richtig schön in Bonbonfarben coloriert.

Der Preis wird diesesmal gesponsort von 7kidscollegefund.

Ausserdem passt die Karte zur Materialchallenge bei den Kreativen-Bastelfreunden mit der Vorgabe "verwende Knöpfe".

I´m still having some days-off-work, so I working with my new stuff from the fair instead.

Just Magnolia #29 "Monochrome"

Diesmal ist das Thema "Monochrome", da fiel mir spontan das neue Stempelgummi mit dem Brautpaar ein.
Ich war echt erstaunt, Magnolia auf der Kreativ-Welt Wiesbaden vorzufinden, und wie ihr euch denken könnt, habe ich dort ausgiebig geshoppt.
Der Spruchstempel ist von "der anderen Tilda", wie ich sie nenne, die "Nähsachen" von Panduro, den habe ich für 1 Euro ergattert. Ihr kennt sicher den Spruch: "Etwas Altes, etwas Neues, etwas Geborgtes und etwas Blaues..."
Ausserdem habe ich die neuen Nellie Snellen Flowerstanzer verwendet, die sind echt genial!

This time the theme is "Monochrome", I had a spontanious idea of my new wedding pair rubberstamp. I was really amazed to find Magnolia at the Kreativ Welt Fair in Wiesbaden, and you guessed right, I did some great shopping there. The sentiment stamp is from "the other Tilda" (as I call her), a sewing line from Panduro and I catched it for only 1 Euro. It says "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue...." And then I used my new Nellie Snellen flower punches, they work great!

Denk-Dran-Buch (Messeworkshop)/ To-Do-Book (fair workshop)

Bei Scrapbook-Heaven auf der Kreativ-Welt-Messe habe ich am Samstag dieses Denk-Dran-Buch gebastelt. Es hat für jeden Monat eine Seite mit Einsteck-Tasche und Journal-Linien.

Isabell hat die benötigten Teile wunderbar vorbereitet und super erklärt, was zu tun ist.

At Scrapbook-Heaven I did this ToDo-book on saturday on the fair in a workshop. The book has a page for every month of the year with a bag, to hold notes and  journaling lines.
Isabell made a great job with preparing the kit and the explaination, what must be done by us.

Last Christmas

Auf Wunsch einer Bastelfreundin sollte ich die Katzen von Mo´s Digital Pencil nochmal mit dem roten Papier machen. Allerdings schaffe ich es nicht, genau die gleiche Karte nochmal zu machen....Klappt nicht.....

Aber ich habe ja genug neues Zeug, was ausprobiert werden wollte, z.B. die Spellbinders Schneeflocken und der Magnolia Stempel mit dem Text von Wham! "Last Christmas"

Auch wenn es viele nicht mehr hören können ;) , es ist mein absoluter Lieblings-Weihnachts-Song!

A craftmate wished to get a card with the cats from Mo´s Digital Pencil, like the one I did before. But I can´t make exactly the same card ......it doesn´t work....

But I bought a lot of new stuff at the fair, and it wanted to be tested, for example the Spellbinders snowflakes and the Magnolia stamp with the Wham! songtext "Last Chrismas"

I love this song, it´s my favorite x-mas song, even if lots of people can´t hear it anymore ;)
